Seton Villa is a registered NDIS provider for Daily Tasks/Shared Living; Community Participation; Specialised Disability Accommodation (SDA); and Groups/Centre Activities.
We are funded by the NDIS for these services to eligible residents and by the Commonwealth Department of Health for people over 65 years under the Continuity of Supports Program.
We rely on gifts and donations to provide funds for additional supports and to pursue new initiatives in line with our Purpose, Promise and Values.
Bernard Curran Foundation
The Bernard Curran Foundation has been providing ongoing support to Seton Villa for many years. The foundation provided significant support towards the acquisition of our property Jenny’s Place.
Jenny’s Place Marsfield was originally a day activity centre for Seton Villa before being redeveloped into SDA housing. Jenny’s Place was completed in 2020 as a new, high quality, high functioning, purpose-build four-bedroom house.
Jenny’s Place is named in memory of Jenny Curran, a former resident of Seton Villa and member of the Curran family. The Bernard Curran Foundation provided the original funding for this property and it is only fitting to retain the place name in recognition of the generous legacy. While the bricks and mortar may have changed, and the purpose of the property has evolved, Jenny’s Place is part of our history and heritage and an integral part of our bright future.
