23 June 2013 - Living Environment Focus Group Meeting

Board, Management and relatives met to workshop and discuss the changing needs of Seton Villa residents and the future living environment Seton Villa should provide.

3 February 2013 - Fees Focus Group Meeting

Representatives of several Seton Villa families took part in a focus group workshop with Board representatives and management to continue development of a new Fee Model for Seton Villa.

14 October 2012 - Parents and Friends Meeting

Board and management attended a meeting of parents and friends of Seton Villa to talk about the recently extended opening hours of the day activity centre and new program of activities offered.

17 July 2012 – Telephone Interviews – Support Fees

Support fees were the subject of a round of telephone interviews with families by board director and management representatives. A new model for support fees is being developed.

19 June 2012 – Staff Focus Group – Code of Conduct

New Code of Conduct developed in consultation between staff, board of directors and management.

26 May 2012 - Focus Group – Strategic Plan

New strategic plan developed in consultation between families, residents, staff and board of directors.

24 May 2012 - Focus Group - Vehicles

Representatives of families, residents, staff and board of directors inspected vehicles to decide which would best suit the needs of Seton Villa. As a result Seton Villa accepted the recommendation of the group to order new Toyota Taragos and a Toyota Hiace with a wheelchair hoist.

12 May 2012 - Focus Group – Brand and Website

Families consulted about how they wanted the organisation to be presented. As a result, the name was changed from Seton Care to Seton Villa and a new website was developed that included photographs of the people we support.

29 and 30 April 2012 - Listening Meetings

All families of Seton Villa residents invited to attend listening meetings with representatives of Board and Management. 13 meetings to hear the views of families about how the needs of the residents could be better met.
