Community Activities

Seton Villa residents take part in a wide variety of community activities. During the warmer months of the year, many of our residents enjoy sailing at Drummoyne.

In the winter time Seton Villa residents get busy knitting squares as part of the “Wrap for Love” Project. Our busy knitters go to Ryde Library to join other volunteers stitching the squares into blankets every fortnight.

Some of our residents enjoy weekly tap-dancing classes with Xtreme Energy Dance group while others attend the National Institute of Dramatic Art at Kensington on Sundays for speech and drama lessons.

Other residents enjoy swimming lessons at Ryde Aquatic Centre or Riding Lessons at Box Hill each week.

Attendance at Mass at St Anthony’s Parish Church, Marsfield, is popular with some residents while others prefer to go to Jesus Club in Gladesville on a Thursday evening.

Other residents attend Monika’s Doggie Rescue at Ingleside on a regular basis.
