Homes For Life

Seton Villa is committed to building two purpose-built homes per year, every year, for the next three years, for people in our community with intellectual disabilities. Living with intellectual disability isn’t easy, but with a specially designed home to grow and be more independent in, life is better.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE YOU’RE MAKING

We need your help to build six homes in Sydney for women with intellectual disabilities to live more independently in the community. Give whatever you can today.

Homes For Life

is a one-of-a-kind home building program that puts independence and choice back in the hands of women living with intellectual disability. With your help, we are building six purpose-built homes to NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Improved Livability design standards with real consideration for people with sensory, cognitive or intellectual impairment.

These are more than just well-built houses, they’re homes.

We can’t do this alone. Help us build and fit out these homes to make a real difference to women who deserve to live their best lives.

Build Hope. Grow Pride.

Homes for Life is part of Seton Villa’s ambitious asset redevelopment plan, Building our Bright Future, the long-term vision to replace the ageing infrastructure with new, purpose-built houses. The asset redevelopment will secure a sustainable and bright future for the residents and community, centred on active support and quality services enabling greater independence, choice and capacity building.

Seton Villa will fund the asset redevelopment through a combination of funding from the Daughters of Charity, investment returns and community support. You can give a little or a lot because it will all make a difference. It can be as simple as:

Of course, if you would like to contribute more or talk to us about something close to your heart, please call us on (02) 9888 5244.

Help turn this beautiful new house into a home

Help us fit out these homes to make a real difference to women who deserve to live their best lives. and watch these houses come to life for the residents of Seton Villa.

“It’s the finishing touches, like kitchen appliances, soft furnishings and outdoor settings, that will give these houses a real sense of home and help give residents greater independence. However, to fund these items, Seton Villa needs community support. Imagine the pride and pleasure the women will experience being able to make a snack, help at meal times, enjoy a BBQ in the garden, and relax in the loungeroom that has the look and feel of a beautiful family home.”
Peter Gardiner, Seton Villa CEO.
